Here i am looking at how different music magazine genres use different house style to represent that genre. This particular magazine cover from the NME magazine represents this genre very well as it is not to colourful and not to dark. It has the right balance of colour to suit that genre.  The layout is suitable to that genre aswell as it looks very neat and  simple.

Here is a different genre of magazine, This magazine is for the genre of pop/chart music. I think that the colour scheme of this magazine suits the genre as its bright and stands out, as you can see both magazines are very different with the colours they use, The first magazine is a lot more simpler than the second.

This is a font cover the 'Q Magazine', the person on the front is pop singer Lilly Allen. I have chosen this image as i think that it represents Male Gaze. The image of Lilly Allen according to Laura Mulvey law is objectification in relation with the Male Gaze.
